On Thursday, 18 Jan 2024 The OPA President, OP Micheal Yam attended the RMC Board of Governors (BOG) Meeting No 1/2024 held in RMC Administration Building, Bukit Belimbing Sungai Besi. The meeting was the first RMC BOG Meeting attended by the President since his appointment in September 2023. The OPA President was accompanied by the OPA General Manager, OPA Omar Shariff.
The Meeting was chaired by the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Datuk Isham Ishak and attended by the representatives from the Army, Navy and Air Force. The newly appointed RMC Commandant, OP Azuar together with the Director of Training, OP Rashidane and Director of Education, En Rashid as well other RMC officers also attended the meeting.
The meeting mainly discussed the current wellbeing of RMC Puteras and the progress of development in RMC. Meeting was concluded with a brief visit by the Director General around the RMC complex and ended with lunch
