The OPA Emergency and Disaster Relief Team’s (EDRT) mission to assist those affected by the flood in Pasir Mas and Tumpat Kelantan ended yesterday. In total, we spent about RM25,000 to buy boat, engine and food supplies which benefitted around 400 families affected by the flood. With the use of the boat we managed to access and assist a few villages disconnected from the outside world. All financial aids were donated by OPs and non-OPs who supported this noble cause.
We would like to thank all the OPs involved in the mission, together with our partners from Kelab Ekspidisi Kelantan (KEK), Majlis Perundingan Islam Malaysia (MAPIM), MACMA Kelantan, Yayasan Orang Kurang Upaya Kelantan (YOKUK), JKM and everybody who made the mission possible. And most importantly, a big thanks to our generous donors – OPs, families and friends – who have been supporting the our flood relief mission since 2013.
