In a festive ceremony held at the Royal Military College (RMC), the Parents and Teachers Association (PIBG) of RMC invited the Old Putera Association (OPA) to witness the transition of leadership within the PIBG. The brief yet vibrant program marked the beginning of a new chapter for the incoming PIBG committee. The event took place in the Belimbing Room at the Royal Military College on February 20, 2024, with the presence of the Commandant of RMC, parents and other strategic partners of RMC.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome to all guests. OP Dr. Shamsul, the previous YDP, humbly shared insights and achievements of the PIBG RMC during their tenure. A symbolic transfer of official documents and responsibilities signaled the formal transition of PIBG leadership from the outgoing to the incoming chairperson. The program was further enriched by an inaugural address from the Commandant of RMC, emphasizing the crucial importance of collaboration among parents, teachers, and the college administration to create a supportive educational environment for the development of the Puteras in RMC. The Commandant acknowledged the pivotal role played by the PIBG in strengthening the lives of the RMC Puteras.
As an additional highlight of the program, an awards ceremony took place to express gratitude to all strategic partners of RMC who have contributed to the success of the Puteras. OPA was represented by OP Asfani Musa, who received the appreciation mementos from Brigadier General Azuar, the Commandant of RMC, on behalf of the Old Putera Association.
